From Dec. 29, 2018 to January 6, 2019, we took Carnival Glory Cruise from Miami Florida to Cozumel Mexico and had 7 days， 5 country safe enjoyable cruise.
 
2018 圣诞节和2019新年假期，我和我的丈夫Frank乘Carnival Glory 在加勒比海沿岸安全享受了七日五国巡航游。



On Dec. 29, we embarked on the cruise and took a look at Miami City from the top of the ship. The beautiful downtown Miami Skyline, the Port of Miami, Fisher Island and Miami Beach were seen by us again.

The port of Miami boasts the title "cruise capital of the world", and is the busiest cruise/passenger port in the world. It accommodates the operations of such major cruise lines as Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line. It is home to the Symphony of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world.

Fish Island is a very small island and no road to get there.  It is only accessible by a passenger vehicle ferry service (24-hour), a private yacht, or private helicopter.  This island looks simple outside. But is an exclusive paradise.

According to the 2010 census, it is America's richest zip code. Some units can exceed $26 million. It is now known today around the world as the ultra-luxurious and exclusive Fisher Island. Some world famous celebrities are living here such as: English Soccer player Beckham etc.

Miami Beach has been one of America's pre-eminent beach resorts since the early 20th century. At the shore, visitors can swim, surf and jet ski in the warm and crystal-clear Atlantic waters. You can also nap on the white sands or simply watch the beautiful people, especially at South Beach, a favorite of models and celebrities. The following pictures were taken by me when we visited Miami on Dec. 27 before we boarded on the cruise.

On Dec. 30, we stayed at sea and explored most of the cruise.  About 2,980-passenger, 110,000-ton Carnival Glory is a colorful ship in more ways than one. When we were onboard Carnival Glory, My husband told me, "Let's do it all".  After we explored the cruise, we found the ship offered a variety of bars and lounges, plenty of entertainment options and a head-spinning array of activities, from Bingo to karaoke and hairy chest competitions, laugh at comedians, dance to music or be wowed by short, high-energy playlist productions song-and-dance shows with dizzying special effects, themed bars, like the sing-along piano bar and the cocktail-focused Alchemy Bar were all great places to linger over drinks. The constant announcements reminded passengers of most of the daily activities, or you could pore over the overly complicated daily newsletters.

As for the food on the cruise, most were included in the cruise fares. You could go to the restaurants or you could choose to eat in buffet area.
Overall, Carnival Glory's biggest strength was its appeal to a wide variety of travelers, from families and groups to couples. Families flocked to Glory's easy Caribbean itineraries, and the ship's kids club had options for babies, kids and teens. I do recommend Carvinal Glory to the family with kids. They had so many facilities and activities for the kids.

Some features of Carnival Glory include nightclubs, casinos, pictures exhibition booths, picture workshops, duty-free shops, four pools, seven whirlpools, and a 214-foot (65 m) water slide, theatre. Sixty percent of her staterooms had ocean views and sixty percent of those featured private balconies. You could do whatever you like, or laying on the beach-bed to enjoy the sunshine or watching the big screen, or soaking into the hot tub with staring at the blue sky and vast Caribbean smooth sea with your favorite drink.

Another of my favorites was watching the show in the theatre. On Dec. 30, we watched Blues and Jazz music. My husband is a big fan of Blues and Jazz. These two kinds of music genres both originated from African American communities in the United States. Yet, Blues were popular around the 1870s by African American in African musical traditions, African-American work songs, spirituals, and the folk music of white Americans of European heritage. Jazz was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and developed from roots in blues and ragtime. Jazz is seen by many as "America's classical music". Since the 1920s Jazz Age, jazz has become recognized as a major form of musical expression.

These singers, dancers and instrument players were performing so amazingly that they made our day the best.
