On New Year day 2019, the cruise docked at Mahogany Bay on the Roatan Island in Honduras.

Roatan Island is the jewel of Honduras’ Bay islands. The largest and most populated of the three main islands (Utila, Roatan and Guanaja ) and located just off the East coast of Honduras. Roatan is well known for its superb scuba diving, warm sunshine and cool trade winds. Unclaimed for many years, the island which is 33miles long and about 2 miles wide, became a haven to many French, English and Dutch pirates. It had been estimated that up to 5,000 pirates may have lived on and ruled Roatan and the Bay Islands during mid-17th century. Roatan’s colorful past evidenced in the diverse cultures and languages community. Its stunning nature beauty and warm, friendly people will touch your soul and leave you longing to return.

The bus tour guide drove us around the island and told us some information about Roatan Island. At last, we stopped at Foster West Bay Beach on Roatan Island. We walked along the beautiful scenic beach. My husband swam in the warm water. I lay on the beach bed and was listening to the sound of the ocean waves. The following pictures were taken by me as we were walking around there.

This is the biggest three house that I saw at Foster’s West Bay beach. I climbed up to the top. It was pretty cool.

We had such a relaxing and happy day on Roatan Island. In the evening during supper time, I saw some watermelons crafts carved by the chefs. I took some pictures for happy wishes in the New Year.
On Jan. 2th, the cruise docked at sea near Fort Street Belize city, Belize. I saw 2 more cruises docked there, too. Can you imagine how busy Belize would be?
2019年1月2号。轮渡在伯利兹国家的伯利兹市停泊。
We took another high-speed boat to Caye Caulker. Caye Caulker is a small limestone coral island off the coast of Belize 32 km north-northeast of Belize City in the Caribbean Sea measuring about 8.0 km (north to south) by less than 1.6 km (east to west). The town on the island is known by the name Caye Caulker Village. The population of Caye Caulker is approximately 2000 people today and still growing. It is accessible by high-speed water taxi or small plane. In recent years, the island has become a popular destination for backpackers and other tourists. There are over 50 hotels and a number of restaurants and shops.
Once on the island, the main mode of transport is simply walking. The paths are well defined, and crossing the island takes 20 minutes at most. Bicycles and golf carts are also common and can be rented. The island is now becoming a center for many painters and some musicians. There are also a few lyrical artists on the island, prominent among them include Alexander Joseph, otherwise known as "Bobbo youth" and ILYA Rosado a.k.a. "ILLA-G" who have developed a local islander fan base with their rap and reggae style music.
We had little bit break on the island having lunch, and then touring around.
我们有乘快艇来到了Caye Caulker 小岛。
We saw numerous pelicans flying or perching here in the sun.
我们看到了无数的海鸥和鹈鹕鸟在这里飞翔和歇息。

After break, we continued boat-speeding to the second largest barrier reefs in the word in Belize.
伯利兹国家拥有世界上第二大的珊瑚礁。
The boat stopped at that area. Everyone put equipments on and jumped into the water for diving. I am not a good swimmer. At first, I was watching them diving in the water. Actually, it was amazing. I saw so many new nurse shakes above the water to catch the food that tour guide threw into the water.
船上的每一个人都跳入水中去寻找海底热带珊瑚鱼。我有点儿害怕，刚开始只站到船上观看。其实，没跳入水中的我比在水中的看到了鲨鱼都多。
The tour guide encouraged me to jump into the water and he said he was looking after me in the water. So I made up my mind to jump into the water. The water actually was not very deep. I could stand on the bottom full of sea grass. I saw lots of turtles, shakes, the other fishes swimming by me, even touching my body. They were very friendly, even this kind of new nurse shakes.
船长说他下船保护我们，千说万说让我们下海。我们逼迫无奈只好跳入海中。

一月3号，我们来到了墨西哥的Cozumel 市。我们乘大巴来到了森林中的一个隐藏在地下一百多万年的许多样式各异钟乳石和石笋峒- Rio Secreto。它们类似与中国洛阳的鸡冠洞。但地面是深浅不异，崎岖不平的河流。

We got dressed up for this adventure and followed the tour guide into a subterranean world that had remained unexplored for millions of years. We marveled at the nature formations around every corner as we walked, waded, and swam through the caverns for about 1.5 hours. We were stunned by the crystal clear cenotes framed by beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. These stalactites and stalagmites were similar to what I saw in Jiguan Caverns in Luoyang, China. But the ground in the caverns is dry in Luoyang Jiguan Caverns. The ground here is full of water like a river. In Jiguan Cavern there are lots of lights making the formation more colorful and beautiful. The caverns here are dark. The tour guide had to turn on the flashlight to show us. We felt more adventurous.
